I study chemical engineering with a focus in computer science at The University of Texas at Austin. My passion lies in combining engineering principles with cutting-edge technology, and this pursuit has equipped me with a versatile skill set.
I previously worked as a software engineering intern at Bright Healthcare. Working collaboratively in a Scrum team environment, I thrived in delivering impactful solutions. I made significant contributions to improving ETL processes through the following methods
- Extracting and loading data for new data partners with SFTP and Rawloader
- Normalizing data and validating schemas with Spark and Scala
- Automating ETL processes for regular clients with Spark and Scala
- Optimizing CI/CD pipelines by creating Azure Log Analytics alerts
- Ensuring smooth data orchestration throughout cloud migration with Databricks and Dagster
- Writing unit tests for all of the above tasks
I've also actively participated in several technical and humanitarian projects which can be viewed on the Projects page.
Outside of my technical pursuits, I enjoy engaging in various activities like bouldering, yoga, camping, running, reading, chess, and playing the piano. Check out my clumsy piano arrangements here!
With a diverse skill set encompassing full-stack development, database management, and data engineering, I am committed to contributing significantly to the future of technology and enjoying myself in the process.
